The International Metal Masks are designed and created by Artist J.W. Ford. They are the artist’s interpretation and expression of the beautiful face of humanity here on Planet Earth and do not purport to be specific representations of any particular division. The masks and some of the portraits are available in a signed and numbered limited edition of 7 originals.
Art Materials
Ø Highest quality embossing materials are used for all pieces.
Ø Total art size 16”x12” permanent mount (12”x9” metal).
Ø All embossed art is antiqued and painted in mixed media.
Ø Custom cut panel board is hand painted by the artist. Metal art is affixed to the back
panel using archival heavy-duty fixatives. Many pieces are embellished with added
ear jewelry.

Ø All shadow boxes are 16”x12” solid wood and are finished off with museum style
kraft paper dust cover sealed backs.
Ø If desired by client, portrait will have an engraved brass plate affixed to the front of
the piece.
Ø Portraits generally have a relevant or personal item encased inside the shadow box
with the art.
